Uganda Safari - 5 Days Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo

5 DAYS SAFARI TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Day 1: Depart from Kampala

After breakfast, depart from Kampala and go through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside. You will see the Equator enroute as well as plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits. Have a stop over at Lake View Hotel Mbarara for lunch. After lunch travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and you will see game enroute more especially the Chimpanzees that criss- cross the road as you drive on.
Arrive in the afternoon at Jacana Safari lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 2: Game Viewing Safari

Have an early breakfast and go for a morning game drive in the Park. You might be able to see Elephants, Buffalos, and Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas and Waterbucks.
In the after noon we’ll take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel and you will appreciate the scores of Hippos, Buffalos, and Crocodiles close to the waterside as well as the rare Leopard prowling. There is a variety of bird species especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana.
Dinner and overnight at Jacana Safari lodge.

Day 3: Visit the Crater Lakes

After breakfast you will visit Queen Elizabeth’s scenic crater lakes area, mirror-surfaced and tranquil, each has its own individual character providing a home for a myriad of creatures. Have lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon tour around the diverse local habitats and take a walk in the Maramagambo forest where you’ll see Chimpanzees and Monkeys. Visit the Kyambura Gorge and enjoy the playful Chimps as they toss about and a variety of other primates and birds. Visit the bat caves and watch out for the outstanding extraordinary Blue Lake.
Dinner and overnight at Jacana Safari lodge.

Day 4: Drive to the Pelican Point

After breakfast in the morning, drive to the pelican point over looking Lake Edward. There is a sensational high degree view and on the good climate and be sure to see the legendary “mountains of the moon”
In the afternoon visit Lake Katwe and get to see the salt works and Flamingo Lake.
Dinner and overnight at Jacana Safari lodge.

Day 5: Depart for Kampala

Drive back after Breakfast to Kampala via Mbarara
