Rwanda is one of the favourite tourist destination in central Africa. In terms of culture and people, Rwanda is one of the richest cultural destination in Africa. People have lived for many years in Rwanda, remains are found from even as early as the iron-age! The first people to stay were the pygmies or Twa. Around 700 BC the farmers; Hutu, came looking for fertile land. The Twa became a minority. Then around the 10th century the cattle keepers: Tutsis came, tall and lean people who soon dominated the other inhabitants and they formed a strong kingdom under the rule of the Muami (king). These groups of people form the population of today's Rwandese Society and their culture is filled with a lot of interesting attributes which include Music, Dance and Drama, festivities, Cultural norms and Traditions etc
